Wooow that was a LOTTA water to paint. Now I just have to go finish painting an octopus and I can get started on something new. :>
Photoshop CS3 and Painter X. Couple of photo refs, mostly for the water.

Ah, I love the arching back and the way you handled the sun halo around the tendrils. Just beautiful.

Awesome. My son saw it and said "No dragon no." XD

Amazing. Lovely composition! The dragon manages to look both powerful and elegant. You also used such beautiful clours and I love the subtle textures of the dragon. Amazing water as well!

Wow, what a pose! This is one of those pieces that you can't help but 'hear' when you first look at it.

Splendid! Absolutely amazing in colors and composition! The pose is especially unique. So beautiful and very enticing!

Beautiful pose, and just gorgeous tendrils. I love how fluid the body is, and how much movement is in the water streaming off. The only thing I would personally change is either making the eye smaller, or leaving it off entirely, as I think the form of the creature is so nice that the eye almost draws attention away from the body as a whole. But regardless, everything about this piece is gorgeous and jaw-dropping.

The water drops are lovely, like little floating balls of glass... I love this. :)
